研究紹介
生物の“心”の進化に脳構造，身体デザイン，生態がどのように結びついているかを理解するのが大きな目標です。現在は，鳥類カラスを対象に近縁種間の比較研究を進めています。多面的な切り口が得られるよう，実験室内外での行動実験・観察，神経科学実験（電気生理，免疫組織化学など），野外調査などの手法を併用しています。また，国内外の研究チームとの共同研究も進めています。
