In accordance with the Act on the Protection of Personal Data, which came into force on 1 April 2005, we handle the information with the utmost care. Policy on personal data

  1. Name of organisation handling personal information

  2. Appropriate collection and use of personal information
    Personal information of registrants will be collected to the extent necessary for research activities, and the collected personal information will be used within the scope of the purposes of use listed in 5.

    In order to prevent leakage, loss, damage or unauthorised access to the personal information of registrants, necessary and appropriate safety management measures will be taken and improvements will be made.
  4. Compliance with laws, regulations and other norms relating to personal information
    The handling of personal information shall comply with the Act on the Protection of Personal Information and other laws, regulations and guidelines relating to the protection of personal information.
  5. Purposes of use of personal information
    The personal information of registrants will be used for the following purposes.
    (1) Recruitment and request for research collaborators in research activities. 2.
    (2) Requests to confirm the age, gender and other attributes of research collaborators in research activities.
    (3) Sending of reports on the activities and research results of the Keio Baby Lab.
  6. Correction of personal information
    If there are any errors in the personal information managed by us, we will take the necessary measures, such as making corrections, if you so request. If you do not wish to receive any information from us by mail or e-mail, we will promptly take steps to stop sending you such information if you so request. If we receive a request for disclosure or notification of the purpose of use of personal data in our possession from the person concerned or their guardian, we will try to process the request promptly and respond to it to the extent necessary and reasonable in accordance with the referral guidelines. Please note that requests that do not conform to the referral guidelines may be refused.
